What it is

A homeschool platform that does the planning so you can do the teaching.

Alatus Academy is built for parents who teach K–5 children at home. You tell us about your child and how the week went; our AI generates a complete weekly curriculum package per subject — already aligned to grade-level TEKS standards and adapted to last week's progress — and delivers it as a printable PDF.

You are the teacher. Alatus does the planning, scope-and-sequence tracking, and weekly material so you can spend your time teaching your child instead of building lessons. No student logins, no screen-first lessons — the platform serves you.

How it works

Three steps to your first week of curriculum.

  1. 1

    Tell us about your child

Add a student profile — name, grade, active subjects, and any context you want us to plan around (interests, learning style, prior gaps).

  2. 2

    Chat your weekly notes

Each week, talk to Lyra — your AI planning assistant — about how the prior week went. She uses your notes plus the child's TEKS position to generate the next package.

  3. 3

    Download and teach

One PDF per subject, every week — lesson plan, parent teaching notes, and student worksheets. Print it, teach it, mark it up. You decide pace, depth, and how to teach it.

Features

Built for parents teaching real children.

TEKS-aligned, K–5

Every lesson references the specific TEKS standard it teaches. Auto-advancement tracks where each child is across every subject.

AI personalization, every week

Each week's curriculum is drafted by AI from your notes, prior weeks' progress, and your child's TEKS position — so lessons adjust dynamically to where this child actually is, not a generic class average.

Per-subject PDFs

One PDF per subject per week — lesson plan, parent teaching notes, and student worksheets. Print-ready, mark-up-ready.

Built by a homeschool family

We built Alatus Academy for our own kids first. Every feature exists because we wanted it for our weekly planning — and we're sharing it with other families teaching at home.

Lyra, your planning AI

Share weekly notes with Lyra in a simple chat — what worked, what didn't, what's coming up. She remembers prior weeks, your child's pace, and TEKS position so each new package builds on what came before.

Printable quick assessments

Generate topic quizzes and unit tests on demand as a 2-page PDF — student worksheet plus a parent answer key. You grade on paper and enter the score; the platform flags topics that need remediation automatically.

Pricing

Beta is free for Founding Families.

Founding Families lock in a special founding rate when public pricing opens after Beta. We're using Beta to validate real costs before setting that rate — your seat is held either way.
